It's been too long...

It has been too long since I have kept you all up to date or created blogs. My goal was to create a bunch over last winter (2024-2025) and yet here we are February 2026!

Before I catch you up on some of the farm operations updates (in another post for another day), I want to draw attention to this incredible picture (credit to an incredible young lady I adore, you know who you are but didn't know if you wanted to be mentioned by name here). This picture I am in awe of. The fact that God can make the most magnificent colors of all time to bring cheer to our lives. To remind us that HE is in control and we are to trust in HIS plans.

I am one person who is guilty of trying to control my life way too often with continuous disappointment in myself. Why I do this to myself over and over and always come to the conclusion that I need God, only shows how much I am human and need to let go of the control. We all have good intentions in setting goals for ourselves, our businesses, and endeavors. Yet, sometimes they do not seem to work out the way we had hoped or dreamed.

The reason I am sharing all of this is because since we have started our farm business, we have had good intentions of creating something absolutely amazing, but life sometimes changes. This farm has given us so much experience with things we had no idea on how to do or where to start but we made it this far. We have truly learned so much and enjoyed the journey! We are not certain what our future holds and we hope and pray we can still reach even some form of our goals, however, at this time we are looking to (unfortunately) downsize the farm. We pray we can keep some of the animals and farm going but that all depends on some factors lining up just right.

We pray you join us and stay tuned for this kidding/cria season and we pray we will have more in the future but are uncertain, so enjoy it while you can. And if you seek to purchase goats (or possibly Alpaca) from our farm, make sure you stay tuned in as we may sell out of our goats fast and don't know if we will have another season to share with you all.

I also quickly want to shout out to all of your customers over these short few years, you all have brought so much joy to see how much you love our farm animals and products! Thank you for your continued support and we pray you continue to love on your precious animals!

Please know I write all this with an extremely heavy heart but I also want to cherish this season in case we don't get another chance. With that, I look forward to meeting all the precious babies that are soon to be born here on The Moore Farm and can't wait to share them with all of you!
