"Dog" (Alpaca) Lead
We have been trying to train our alpacas to walk on leads. Sometimes it is nice to have long leads. However, sometimes I find it nice to have short leads that I connect a heavy duty carabiner (which we get from Ace Hardware) and then we can lead the alpacas in a more controlled manner. We also use the carabiner on the lead to hook them to the fence while we have to administer vaccines or to do any medical checks. Our alpacas kick and fuss less doing so. Plus, if I don't have help, I can do it all by myself.

"Dog" (goat) grooming kit
Goat hoof trimming can be hard on the back. We created a system in our barn that lifts the goats up in order to stand and better trim their hooves. We also have a scale to weigh our goats by hanging this on it. We use it for both our baby goats and adults (however, we never use this system with a pregnant animal). It does NOT hurt them and they are less likely to kick during trimming which is safer for everyone all around. Please be very careful in making sure if you create such a system that it can hold more weight than you will need. This ensures the safety of your animals. We do also use our milk stand when we do not use this system.

Adult Alpaca Halter
Again alpaca halters are hard to size. This is the one that we found works for our Adult Alpacas. We bought a size small and surprisingly it fit great. We hope you like this product as well.

Alpacas Farming Guide
There is not a lot of information out there on Alpacas. This is one book I got that has been helpful. It is only 94 pages long but I found it helpful with how they break things down. There are some paragraph form of writing along with bullet points to make it easy reading and is helpful when you are trying to find information fast. We have two Alpaca reference books and this is one I still recommend having to learn more on how to have Alpacas on your farm.

Baby (Cria) Alpaca Halter
Alpaca halters are hard to find for sizing. Alpacas are not as big as Llamas so it is tricky to find the proper fit. We found this alpaca halter to be the right size for a Cria (baby alpaca) and are excited to try it with our first Cria soon on our farm. See Adult Alpaca Halter to find the right size for a normal/average adult alpaca.
