Spirit

We brought Spirit to The Moore Farm on March 29th, 2023 along with Twilight, Midnight, and Dustbowl (wether). Spirit is one of two (Midnight) goats on our farm that is part LaMancha, which is another milk breed of goats and have with very short ears. Spirit is also part Nigerian Dwarf. She has the ears of a Nigerian Dwarf but her body size is a little bigger than the average Nigerian Dwarf which comes from the LaMancha’s size.

Spirit is full of curiosity and is extremely friendly. She always comes right up to us and is almost always the first to greet us!

We love her black and white coloring but there is nothing black and white about Spirit! She is full of joy, happiness, and curiosity. Spirit is definitly one of our goats you would love to snuggle!

In Fall of 2023, we bred Ginko (RIP) to Spirit. Spirit kidded (spring 2024) three healthy babies. One buckling (Krome) and two doelings (Jasmine and Snow White). In Fall of 2024, we bred Spirit to Ricky. Spirit kidded (spring of 2025) three wonderful babies. Two bucklings (Mario & Luigi) and one doeling (Peach). In Fall of 2025, we bred Cypress to Spirit and look forward to seeing their babies this Spring 2026! Stay tuned as we see how incredible these babies are. Spirit is truly an amazing mother, kids out multiple babies, wonderfully friendly, is great on the milk stand, and has great milk production. We are so blessed to have her on our farm!
