Ace

In Summer of 2023 we brought Ace to our farm! Ace’s coloring is very unique as is her personality. She loves to talk and her voice is so different than any other doe I’ve ever heard.

Ace loves to have attention from everyone who will give her snuggles and she just leans in and is quiet as can be. Ace, I’d say, is one of the most gentle goats we have and least aggressive. She will try to stand her ground when she needs to with other does but she tries to avoid any fights she can. She has become one of our favorites and she may be a little spoiled when it comes to making sure she has what she needs.
In Fall of 2023 we bred Ace to Prince. She ended up getting some sickness close to her due date which caused birthing issues. I had to assist her birthing a handsome buckling (Lucky) and unfortunately I couldn't help her for the second and we had to get her an emergency c-section. The precious doeling didn't make it and it was truly devastating for us all. Thankfully we did not loose Ace in the process and she was an incredible mother to Lucky! We decided to try to breed Ace again in the fall of 2024 but unfortunately we believe she miscarried. In Fall and winter of 2025 we have attempted to breed her again and we will see if she will be able to have any more babies. This has been extremely hard for us as she is a favorite and an incredible mother. We continue to love on her with snuggles and attention. No matter what happens with kidding season, Ace is a favorite and an incredible "therapy" animal to have on our farm.
