Underground Cable Locator Wire Tracker
Our Guard dogs are escape artists and we had to install underground electric fencing (with shock collars) to contain them to our property. We used "DogWatch" company, whom we are pleased with the outcome. However, due to the population of pocket gophers on our property we were coming into the issue of them destroying the underground wiring. This is normal for this kind of system and fairly easy to fix ourselves once we learned how. All you need is some extra wiring on hand, wire cutter, and this underground wire locator to find where the break is and fix it. There are commercial wire locators, however, we found this one to work fairly well for a more affortable price for us at the moment.

Water heater bucket
Once we put outlets into our barn, these water heater buckets have been a life saver! We use to haul buckets out 2-3 times a day in the winter when they would freeze. These keep the water from freezing so our animals are happier, healthier and we get to haul less water out each day (saving our bodies from wear and tear). To us, these are a must now. And they work well in the summer, you can roll up the cord and hid it under the bucket to keep the cord out of the way! Highly recommend and we believe they are worth every penny!

White Towels
One of the absolute musts on a farm with kidding seasons is white towels. We use these with every kidding season and they are easy to clean and sanitize due to them being white! We also care small white wash clothes for cleaning of the momma's udders.

Wooden Drop Spindle
If you ever want to learn how to spin wool roving into yarn this drop spindle is a great start! I am just learning and it is definitely a skillful art to behold. I hope someday to be better at it. Alpaca fiber is incredibly soft and sought after.
