Livestock Poly Halter Rope
I have found these to be our favorite halters to use on our goats. It takes some getting use to if you are unfamiliar, however, it isn't too bad. We added a loop on the end and a carabiner in order to hook our goats up on our fencing while they wait turns to be tended to (vaccines, health checks, milking, etc).

Milk Machine
This milk machine has saved my hands from extreme soreness and exhaust. This company you can order a few different options. We eventually got the cart to mount the milk machine to. We have to roll it in and out of the barn due to our barn not being heated in the winter months and it being dirt flooring. Bring inside our home keeps it clean and well maintenanced. I went from hand milking each goat in about 15 minutes each to using the milk machine and being done in 2-3 minutes with each goat. What I love about this company is you can get replacement parts and additional equipment as needed. I can also order addtional filters and jars. Again, I highly recommend this company and have been extremely pleased.

My Goat Binder
This binder helps me organize all my goat records for each goat. It has information on illnesses and how to treat your goats. We have already used this binder many times in caring for our goats. I highly recommend using this tool so we don't have to recreate the "wheel." Thank you fellow goat homesteader for creating this binder for all of us!

Seed Packets
Once we started using Heirloom seeds for our garden, we have started to learn how to dry the seeds ourselves for the following seasons. I bought these to package them once they are ready and label them with the name of the plant and the year we preserved the seeds. Doing this has helped us to maintain having seeds on hand and not having to purchase more each year. We have also been able to share our seeds with others.

Tattoo Ink
This is the green ink we get for tattooing our goats. You can also order black ink. Again, green ink shows up better on dark colored ears and black ink shows up better on light colored ears.

Thermometer
We use this thermometer to watch the temp while making goat milk ice cream, cottage cheese, or anything else that we use our goat milk for. It works great and I don't have to hold it, I can just clip it to our pot or bowl.
