These are great baby goat bottles for kidding season to have around. The nipples you can trim off the tips and make them small holes or a bit bigger for when the kids (baby goats) are a bit bigger and can drink faster. Don't forget to wash them out right after that way it is easier to wash.

These butter molds have been great for making homemade butter out of our goat milk! After the butter has set, I take the butter out and wrap it in wax paper and but them in the freezer until we are ready to use them. Hope you enjoy!

We love having reusable cheese cloth around. Make sure you wash it correctly in order to get as many uses as you can. We use this for making goat milk butter, cottage cheese and more.

We tried heat lamps for chicks but found them to be inefficient and a fire danger. We decided to go to these chick brooder heating plates and find that the chicks love them. Chicks naturally want to go hide under a momma hen but since we don't let our hens be broody, these heating plates are efficient and the chicks seem more comfortable.

Though our farm we do NOT like to disbud or dehorn our goats, many people prefer this and for 4H they require it for most dairy goats. For this sake we hated the thought of burning off their horns. A friend of ours suggested to try this dehorning paste. It is required to use a few days after your baby goats are born (sooner for bucklings vs. doelings). We hate this process and I am pretty sure we cry while the baby goats cry but it is an alternative to the smell of burnt flesh. So, if you decide to try this route, be warned, the baby goats still cry (scream).

I wish I had bought this fencing at the start of our farming. We were able to move this fencing around fairly easily and the goats and alpaca respect the fencing. In fact, our Guard dogs do too. This has given us the capablility to move our animals around on fresh grazing on our property because permanent fencing can be expensive and time consuming to get up. In fact, I love this fencing so much I hope to get more of it to be able to move our does and bucks to bigger areas on our land.
